Leave a Bequest
Anyone, at any age, can arrange to make a bequest, by adding a provision in your will to leave a gift to "Comprehensive Alcholism Rehabilitation Programs, Inc." Through this generous action, you are helping ensure a healthy future for the organization, and for the clients we serve, for future generations.
Great things are made possible through bequests, such as scholarship, renovation, expansion, and endowment. By helping CARP, Inc. in this way, you can help ensure a future of recovery for Palm Beach County residents, for years to come. By extending your selfless generosity beyond life, you will have made an indelible mark on our legacy and yours.
Through your will, you can specify that some or all of your assets benefit CARP, Inc. After your lifetime, the asset(s) you specify will pass to CARP, Inc. and your estate could take a charitable deduction for the amount of your bequest.
Any consideration you can make to CARP, Inc. in your Will, is greatly appreciated.
There are many ways to leave a bequest to CARP, Inc.
If you already have a will, you can simply add a codicil specifying a gift of one of the following:
- Fixed amount: You can specify a dollar amount or asset in your will for CARP, Inc.
- Percentage: You can name a percentage of your estate for CARP, Inc. This allows the size of your gift to adjust to your financial circumstances.
- Residual: Once your family and friends are remembered and all your debts and taxes settled, CARP, Inc. receives all or a percentage of whatever remains in your estate.
- Contingent: You can name CARP, Inc. as a contingent beneficiary in case your primary beneficiaries pre-decease you.
The following language can be used to provide for CARP, Inc. in your will:
“I hereby bequeath ______ to Comprehensive Alcholism Rehabilitation Programs, Inc., a non-profit organization incorporated by the laws of the State of Florida and having its principal office at 5410 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.”
